I’m proud to have exhibited my work in the following shows:

Tiny Pussy, Massive Bush
Northern Summer Exhibition, 2024
Newcastle Art Centre

  • This mischievous masterpiece began as a holiday snap from Malta, featuring a tiny courtyard cat perched beside a giant Monstera.

The name Tiny Pussy, Massive Bush was cracked on the spot (and obviously stuck).

Cheeky and playful, it’s exactly the kind of humour my mam and I shared. She adored the photo when I showed her, giggling at the title.

When she passed away a few months later, I found myself painting that memory. What began as something light-hearted became unexpectedly healing, helping me laugh, cry, and grieve.

Not long after finishing, the piece was accepted into the Newcastle Art Centre Summer Exhibition. Seeing it on the gallery wall was a proud moment I’ll never forget.

While I’m not ready to part with the original, 150 limited edition A3 prints are available in my Etsy shop.

Cheeky but totally safe for work, this print brings smiles (and maybe a dirty giggle or two) to any room and is the perfect talking point for anyone with a sense of humour as big as that bush.

  • The original Tiny Pussy, Massive Bush currently hangs proudly in my home, and I’m not quite ready to part with it just yet.

That said, it does enjoy the occasional outing and is regularly entered into exhibitions, so you may spot it popping up in galleries from time to time.

  • This is my most popular print, and it’s available in a range of sizes.

Unframed A3 prints are available to purchase using the button below.

If you’re looking for something slightly different, I can also provide larger or smaller print sizes, as well as framed prints in a variety of frame colours.

At markets I sell framed prints, unframed prints, and greeting cards, so if you’ve seen something in person and would like a similar option online, feel free to get in touch.

Send me an email if you’re looking for something specific.

Bring a little Tiny Pussy Massive Bush into your space.

Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden
For Me, Being a Woman, 2026
6th - 17th March 2026
Gallery Grounds

  • Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden has been years in the making, both on the canvas and within myself.

As this painting slowly took shape, I found myself exploring what it means to grow into the kind of woman I want to be. One who listens to the quiet guidance of Mother Nature. One who laughs loudly. One who creates things like this, no matter how bonkers the concept may seem.

This piece is a big, leafy thank you to Her, and to all the feminine forces who have lifted me, loved me, and helped me grow.

Look closely and you’ll find a disco ball nestled in the branches, because nature sparkles in every season. The leaves themselves are made from old notes, poems, and birthday cards, recycled from tree to paper and back to leaf once more.

A small sign reads “Leave no trace.” It’s a gentle reminder to live sustainably and to follow the sparkling call of Mother Nature. She invites us to tread lightly and shows us that there is so much to discover when we move in time with her rhythms and lessons.

Yonic shapes, swirling skies, and quiet celebration weave through the branches. The piece is playful, personal, and a little bit cheeky.

At its heart, Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden is a celebration of growth, connection, and the magic that happens when women come together and lift one another up.

  • The original Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden is currently available.

This piece is rich with texture and layered detail, and is beautifully presented in an ornate silver frame, which complements the playful sparkle and depth of the painting.

Je Ne Sais Quack
The 100th Sefton Open Exhibition 2026
28th March - 30th May 2026
The Atkinson, Southport

  • Je Ne Sais Quack began one sunny morning in Paris. ☀️

It was a beautiful spring day that started with strong coffee and the purchase of shiny, plump fruit and flaky pastries. We carried them over to the Bois de Boulogne for a spontaneous picnic, where I sat on the grass happily stuffing my face, admiring the beauty of this gorgeous park, and congratulating myself on some excellent life decisions.

I took photos and sketched the lake in front of me, keen to remember this perfect start to a long Parisian weekend. 🇫🇷

While walking around the lake, a Mandarin duck caught my eye. I took quite a few photos that day, but completely fell for this particular character.

    Why? I’m not entirely sure.

He just had that certain something.

That je ne sais quack. 🦆

The decision to paint him came later that summer. While visiting Florence, I was standing in the Uffizi Gallery in front of The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli when I noticed myself studying the waves. They are not the main focus of the painting, but they made me wonder how difficult it must be to paint water well. I decided then and there that capturing water in oil would be my next challenge. 🌊

    Turns out, it’s quite tricky.

In the reference photo, the water ripples and reflects the trees and sky above it. The sparkles, shifts and tree reflections were all a bit of a minefield. The breakthrough came when I loosened up and used an acrylic marker to scribble all over. The lines needed to be messy and natural.

The scene itself is quite simple. A duck on a lake.

But male Mandarin ducks are anything but simple. Their colours are extraordinary, and they look as though they’re wearing a beautifully tailored, slightly flamboyant waistcoat. In Eastern culture they symbolise love and lifelong partnership, which feels rather fitting for such a handsome creature.

    A simple setting.
    A spectacularly handsome subject.
    A playful title.

A painting that pushed me to try something new.

Je ne sais quoi is a French phrase used to describe an indefinable quality. That certain something you can’t quite explain.

    This duck had it.

And I wanted to see if I could paint it. 🎨

  • The original Je Ne Sais Quack painting is still for sale and is an oil on canvas measuring 50 × 60 cm.

The piece will soon be varnished and professionally framed, ready to find its forever wall.

If you’re interested in giving this very well-dressed gentleman a new home, I’d love to hear from you.

Please get in touch via email to enquire about availability, pricing, or shipping.

  • A3 prints of Je Ne Sais Quack are available and printed on beautiful heavyweight paper to preserve the colours and details of the original painting.

They make a joyful addition to kitchens, studios, living rooms, or anywhere that could use a little colour and a very distinguished duck.

Greeting cards of this piece are also available.

If you’re looking for something slightly different, I can also provide posters, smaller print sizes, and framed prints in a variety of frame colours. At markets I sell framed prints, unframed prints, and greeting cards, so if you’ve seen something in person and would like a similar option online, feel free to get in touch.

Unframed A3 prints are available to purchase on this website.
