Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden has been years in the making, both on the canvas and within myself.

As it slowly took shape, I found myself thinking about the kind of woman I want to be, the women who have helped me grow, and everything Mother Nature can teach us when we stop and pay attention.

It became a big, leafy thank you to all of those feminine forces. To growing strong roots and connections, taking up space, laughing loudly and creating things that might seem completely bonkers, simply because they bring you joy.

There are little pieces of that story everywhere. The leaves are cut from old notes, poems and birthday cards, taking them from tree to paper and back to leaf again. A disco ball sparkles amongst the branches, because nature truly sparkles in every season, while yonic shapes weave their way through the painting.

It’s playful, personal and a little bit cheeky, but underneath it all is something I really believe: there’s so much we can learn from nature, from each other and from ourselves when we’re allowed to grow in our own way.

Go where she grows, find your own way, and leave no trace.
