Mother Nature’s Lady Garden

This piece has been years in the making, both on the canvas and in myself.

As I slowly shaped this piece, I was also gently exploring what it means to grow into the kind of woman I want to be.

One who listens to the quiet guidance of Mother Nature. One who laughs loudly. One who creates things like this, no matter how bonkers the concept.

Follow the Call of Mother Nature’s Lady Garden is a big, leafy thank you to Her, and to all the feminine forces who’ve lifted me, loved me, and helped me grow.

There’s a disco ball nestled in the tree because nature sparkles in every single season. The leaves are made from old notes, poems, and birthday cards, all recycled from tree to paper, then to leaf once more.

A small sign reads “Leave no trace.” It’s a gentle nudge to live sustainably and follow the sparkling call of Mother Nature. She asks us to tread lightly and reminds us there is so much to discover when we move in time with her rhythms and lessons.

You’ll find yonic shapes, a swirl in the sky, and a quiet kind of celebration woven into the branches. It’s playful. It’s personal. It’s a bit cheeky. And it’s full of love.

The original piece, with all its texture and layered detail, is still available to buy. Please message erin.kirtley@gmail.com for more information on framing and pricing.

There are also 150 limited edition fine art prints blooming now on my Etsy store, and each one is sold with its own copy of the accompanying poem.
