The story behind the art.

Tiny Pussy, Massive Bush began as a holiday snap in Malta, featuring a tiny courtyard cat perched beside a frankly enormous Monstera.

The name was cracked on the spot and it stuck.

It was exactly the kind of stupid, cheeky humour my mam and I shared. When I showed her the photo, she loved it and had a good giggle at the title.

Months later, my mam passed away. Amid the grief, I found myself coming back to that photo and decided to paint it.

What started as a silly holiday memory became something unexpectedly healing, giving me space to paint, laugh, cry, and remember her mischievous sense of humor.

The original isn’t for sale, but don’t worry, there’s still plenty of Tiny Pussy, Massive Bush to go around. Find it on prints, cards, tote bags, and tea towels in my shop.
